Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends, come inside come
inside...what's that? you are all ready inside? Well, then pull up a seat, sit around and I shall tell you a tale.
Or maybe a few tales, who is to say?
I feel I have a few things to address, as my loyal fans should be the
first to know when "things" (Jauron 2002) come about in my life especially HSFL matters. Things such as my new found
respect for Ryan Geib, not geig as earlier reported, as well as my lack of attendance at games and new mechanics for officials.
Ok, so that latter was just tossed in there to see if you were paying attention and to make it seem like I do things officiating
related with the league.
I used to hate geig, now I can actually stand Ryan Geib, there, I said
it. He isn't the dumbass one thought of via the message board. He is actually pretty funny and likes to fire on
people just as much as I do. Geib is a piece of work, one worthy of praise for being the world biggest idiot on the
message board and then being funny in person, amazing.
Many of you who are reading this are probably saying, this guy
is the league's senior official, why doesnt he come to games? I officiate some sports on the side of doing the HSFL
gig, which is my only football job. I do basketball and softball mostly, with some baseball. basically I had been
umpiring a lot of the Merrillville, Arizona fall softball league, making 40 bucks a Sunday for working two BS games that I
could have done blind folded. Because this is my only source of any money, I could not pass up on a weekend of doing
it. Yesterday (Sunday, October 26) some basketball games came up last minute, they paid 38 bucks for two third grade
girls games-while this was the worst basketball games I have ever been a part of in my life, there was a hot mom to look at,
and my patent leather shoes were sparkling, thanks for asking. Because the HSFL only pays me air fare to get to
games, I cannot pass up on cash to work these games, even though most of the time the more fun would be had doing the HSFL
ballgames, but until a monetary donation is giving in the name of the HSFL to me, I cannot pass up real life money. I hope
everyone understands.
I lied about mechanics, Greg and I have not done anything related to
mechanics this year, except I gave him a new whistle, so if you thought I gave the league nothing this year, just remember
I worked a game with Greg while it was sunny and I played in a game that I am still getting mosquito bites off of my body
from.
To close I would ask that you please write your local congressman and
ask that Saved By The Bell is brought back to being played twice a day, back to back, on UPN Power 50 in the Chicagoland area.
If nothing else, please buy me the first two seasons on DVD for my birthday, thanks. Keep it clean kids, stay in school
and take your vitamins.
Thanks, as always, for making me a part of your day,
Phil Mulroe
