Matt Lams originally made
his HSFL debut in 1999. Lams saw little action in the 2000 season, and at the beginning of the 2001 season, his career
was thought to be over. Lams made his return in Week
5, a game that he was supposed to officiate and scored 3 touchdowns.
Lams, the fastest HSFL player ever and one of the most althletic and strong of all time, has never really been given a fair
shake by the league in his career. The problem is, he's too good, and he has never been allowed to play without adequate
opposition. 2003, however, marks a change in the HSFL philosophy, and Lams is now playing on a full-time basis after
spending the majority of 2002 as an official. Now that the league has opened its arms to Lams, he has a chance
to show just what a special player he can be.
