Justin Sawicki made his HSFL debut during the 2000 season.  Sawicki played only one game and was seemingly forgotten by the league and its fans.  Being good friends with HSFL Executive Board members has its benefits however, as Sawicki was signed by Jeff Renn and Mike Arana to return to the league in 2002.  Sawicki uses his good speed, as well as hands and physical strength to punish opposing players.  He took the league by storm in 2002, as he was selected to the Pro Bowl after leading the league in touchdowns.  He also took home Rookie of the Year honors for his fine season.  Now that he league knows about Sawicki, it will be interesting to see what kind of encore he can put up in 2003 as he looks to bring home some more hardware.
